02 it's orientation once again and on monday! you'll have wet games, even more games, song and dance and then the highly anticipated Faculty Dance Competition at the Post-Orientation Party! Orientation activities will be happening from 10am after which lessons will end and O2 begins! Activities are from 10am till late in the evening around 9pm, so please remember to bring these items for the day:
> Sandals for wet games (no slippers allowed!)
> Change of clothes for wet games (dark shirt for girls)
> Change of clothes for POP!
> Faculty tee
GUYS DON'T PON POP OKAY, let's all go there and do our (spasming-like) hand locking and pwn the other facs upside down :) and most importantly, to enjoy ourselves la!
03 Dear C1 Artemisians, Founder's Day is coming up on 20th March 2008 and this year, all C1 students will be involved in CIP by faculties. Do you remember the time you went for the Artemis Faculty CIP? You will be doing what you did for that weekend in January but for different units in Lengkok Bahru. However this time, as Founder's Day is during the block test week for C2 students, the Fac Comm will require your help in organising the CIP to make this round a success.
We are looking for:
1) 22 Unit ICs (to oversee the work in each unit allocated to your class)
2) 2 Overall ICs (overall organisers with your ECs)
NOTE: We will be selecting 2 unit i/cs per class. The 2 overall i/cs will be selected from the pool of applicants and will not be unit i/cs. Anyone is welcome to apply!
If you are interested to help out a Unit IC or an Overall IC, please do fill in the forms that will be distributed to you and pass them back to any faculty committee member by 25th Feb 2008, Monday.

My church is having a barbecue this Saturday. Yep same place we went for the movie last time. This time we don't have to cook anything and yes it's totally FREE! haha.
The barbecue starts at 5pm, and i'll be meeting all who wanna go at the Potong Pasir MRT.

Hey everyone. Like FINALLY I am able to log in and upload all the nonsense that we've been up to for the past month. Tomorrow is posting day for the JAE people, and I'd just like to say that no matter where everyone is posted, these two months - or whatever time we've had together - has honestly been awesome. No matter what the outcome, just know that each and every one of you has been a part of my wonderful experience at Hwachong. Of course, hopefully everyone stays where they areee!

UPDATES
01 fac dance prac tomorrow at 4pm at audi basement. it's just individual tuition for our class, so do try to be there! fac dance competition is on 25th feb if i'm not wrong. also, the SEKRET MANUAL TO THE ARTEMIS FAC DANCE is with marie hahaha, ask her if you desperately want to mug the dance steps religiously every night. alternatively, go here
02 CNY celebrations on the 6th, wednesday! kudos to the bench banner and stall committee for working hard on their respective parts! for our stall, there's been a change in plans; we'll only be selling fried mars bars as baking fortune cookies turned out to be a little harder than expected, but the good thing's that people can choose from 4 sorts of chocolate that they would like fried! sinful, but oh very yummy i would expect ;) ALSO, WILL NEED PUBLICITY IDEAS FOR THE 6TH ITSELF-- we could come up with some catchy slogan and write it out on some huge board. or maybe dress someone up as cai shen ye and make him go around promoting our stall hee hee. will discuss this tomorrow in class!
03 VALENTINE'S DAY IS COMING UP, and if i'm not wrong it's a tradition for the guys to do something for the class girls.. wink wink. also, if you would like to surprise your friends from other schools with a flower, http://smiles.sg/
04 NEED $$MONEY$$: those going for huangcheng on the 8th, please pay sufen $12 as soon as possible, thank you very nice. as it's also mellissa's birthday then, we'll most likely've a class dinner or something before that, so do try to keep your saturday free! :)
05 don't think you all need to be reminded, but econs ILP is due tomorrow.. and so is question 1 of history tutorial; we've to do a quick outline in response to the question and save it in a thumbdrive. and history students, YOU'VE A TEST TOMORROW. ... .....
